Angela_Bassett
Angela Evelyn Bassett (born April 15th in 1961) is an American actress. Known for her work in television and in film from the mid-80s onwards, she has received various accolades like two Golden Globe Awards and sixteen NAACP Image Awards in addition to nominations for two Academy Awards and seven Primetime Emmy Awards. Bassett is born in New York New York. She was born in Winston-Salem North Carolina. Bassett, her sister, and their mother were moved from the city of Winston-Salem to St. Petersburg Florida when Bassett was five. Their father separated from their mom. Bassett, while in high-school watched John Steinbeck's stage play Of Mice and Men with James Earl Jones and she was inspired to be an actor. The year was 1980 and Bassett completed her studies at Yale University New Haven Connecticut with a degree in African American studies. She also received a degree from the Yale School of Drama. While at Yale she met Courtney B. Vance a fellow actor and the two married in 1997. Qualification: B.A. the Yale School of Drama conferred a Master of Fine Arts in African American Studies to Angela Bassett back in the year 1980. The school she attended was the school following: Jordan Park elementary school, Disston Middle School for 7th graders, Azalea Middle School for 8th and 9th grades in addition to Boca Ciega High School. Angela Bassett is currently working on one of the leading roles as Ramonda in the action-adventure movie i.e. Black Panther Wakanda forever 2022.
